PRODUCTION PROCESS:  Ever wonder what happens to your 1980's prom dress that you gave to Goodwill?  Chances are no one at Goodwill wanted it, so it was shipped to Haiti to be sold there.  The selling of our unwanted clothing in Ghana alone is an 80 million dollar a year industry!  This apron was made from button down shirts gathered from these markets.  Next it is sewn by a women's cooperative in the plateau of Haiti - a very rural village where the production of Liz Alig clothing provides a much needed source of income for families that have little opportunities in this very remote part of Haiti.  Because it is made from recycled materials it will be 100% unique!  Let us know your favorite shade and we will select one in the same Spirit as the color chosen.
